Kareena hits back at Priyanka: I Am Beautiful!

The sets of television chat show 'Koffee With Karan' has turned into a battleground for all our Bollywood beauties. With host Karan Johar fielding some of the most controversial questions to the celebrities sitting on his couch, they too, do not shy away from giving some of the wackiest answers in spite of the fact that they are on national television. And if reports are to be believed, the celebrities have taken the show so seriously that they are suffering from the after effects of 'Koffee With Karan'! What else can we term the catfight between once good friends Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra? When asked by Karan Johar what she would like to take away from Bebo's laptop, Piggy Chops promptly asked whether Kareena Kapoor at all has a computer in the first place! And now it looks like that our catty Bebo is not prepared to sit back and listen to such baseless allegations. Well, did she go back to Karan Johar to sort things out with Priyanka Chopra? No, Kareena is smarter than that. According to reports circulating in the media, Bebo has made it a point to post a text on her mobile phone informing all her friends and everyone else in the industry that some people may think that she does not own a laptop, but they will have to accept the fact that she is beautiful. Through the message, Kareena Kapoor has made it very clear that she is better looking than Priyanka Chopra! What does Piggy Chops have to say about that? Fans are eagerly waiting for more!

SHAH RUKH: ‘Raj or SRK, he’s every woman’s dream’ He’s been the Badshah of Bollywood for years. And is as lovable and energetic off screen, as he is on it. Raj or Shah Rukh, he’s every woman’s dream.


After Asoka, Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham and Billu in which I made a special appearance in a song, we’re now working on Ra.One. It’s exciting being a part of a fantasy adventure in the superhero genre and from what I’ve seen, Shah Rukh will pull it off.

There’s been talk that since Robot’s release, some of the super effects are being redone or upgraded. That’s non-sense! RA.One is going to introduce you to SFX that you have never seen before.

Shah Rukh and Arjun (Rampal) have their superhero costumes. For once, I’m glad they are not a part of my wardrobe, and for a change, the weight loss controversy is dogging my co-stars rather than me. For me, the biggest high as far as this film goes, is Akon’s song. That will be my memento!

SALMAN: ‘He’ll make me the envy of all women’ 

Salman is our Rajnikant, from Maine Pyaar Kiya to Dabangg, he’s been amazing! His expressive eyes have won the hearts of trillions and I’m one of them.

I’ve worshipped him since I was a star-gazer on the sets of Jagruti. In that film, he was paired with my sister and they continue to share a great bond. Salman is protective of Karisma, actually he’s protective of me too, probably because he’s known me since I was really young.

Our first film together was Main Aurr Mrs Khanna last Diwali. Now I’m getting ready for the hottest bodyguard, one that would make me the envy of all the women. The film has a great role for me too, and that should also make me the envy of other Bollywood actors.

Baby (Salman’s sister Alvira who is producing the film) really wanted me for the role not just because I looked the part but because she believed I could carry it off. It’s great to get a vote of confidence for your talent and I think Bodyguard will be the perfect film for Salman and me.

AAMIR: ‘He’s the God of everything to do with our movies’

I love Aamir Khan. What a genius! He’s the God of everything to do with movies. Saif rags me saying once we’re on the subject of Aamir,  it’s going to be a three-hour conversation.

What to do, I respect him immensely. He’s right up there as far as performances go. I’ve been waiting to work with him forever. I got a chance when Raju (Rajkumar Hirani) cast us in 3 Idiots. Now I’m hoping for a repeat.

IMRAN: ‘Saif says we make a great pair’

I haven’t seen much of Imran’s work. I liked him in Jaane Tu.. Ya Jaane Na. He made me laugh and that’s a tough job. He’s growing fast with every film and is one of the dark horses who should go far. He looks stunningly beautiful on screen!

I don’t know him too well. We haven’t started shooting  for Short Term Shaadi yet. But Saif, after watching him in I Hate Luv Storys, feels that he’s bright and talented. And that he and I make a great pair. I trust Saif’s judgement!

SAIF: ‘He’s worked on his own terms’

What sets Saif apart from a number of other actors is his belief in himself and the movies he makes. That’s why he’s taken so many risks in his career. Right from Parampara to Love Aaj Kal, Qurbaan and now Agent Vinod, Saif has worked on his own terms.

He’s a great actor and I’m not just saying that because of our personal relationship. He’s versatile and intelligent, a great combination of beauty and brains. He’ll always be a leader, given the way he thinks. He makes me so proud!

For the last one year he’s been completely focused on Agent Vinod. He’s been obsessed with the genre since he was a kid. And I think he’s the right guy to make a film along the lines of a Bond or a Bourne Identity.

He’s cultured, has had a wonderful education and upbringing, and despite being a Bollywood actor, he’s kinda international.

I wanna watch Kareena maasi!

Kareena Kapoor's darling niece watches her maasi's big hit Golmaal 3 after much tu tu-main main with her mom Kareena Kapoor had a special screening of Golmaal 3 for her family members before the film's release. Only her niece Samaira was missing at the late-night show. Says a source close to the actress, "Lolo's daughter has to sleep early. But she loved the promos of G3 and told her maa that she simply had to watch the film. The mom didn't take her seriously until she threw a tantrum. Karisma finally gave in." Adds the source, "G3 is also the li'l girl's first-ever Hindi film and she loved it! Though she has heard Kareena's songs and loves dancing to them she has never seen a Hindi film - neither her mom's nor her aunt's. Karisma is very strict about not letting her see films, but couldn't refuse her this time." She loved it! Bebo adds, "Samaira loved the film and the songs. Now she keeps asking questions on how Ajay bends people's fingers or something or the other. I feel its Samaira's luck, Rohit's superb direction and some great performances that have made the film so successful. Saif was in London so he couldn't watch the film but mom and Lolo loved it!"
